Structural Steel - Back to Top

This includes any type of steel typically fabricated for use in industrial buildings. This is usually includes the following:

  • Finalizing the designs with the customer
  • Preparing the workshop drawings for fabrication
  • Ordering the required steel from our suppliers
  • Scheduling the job for fabrication in the workshop
  • Communicating the design points to the workshop employees
  • Welding and Drilling as required
  • Painting or Shipping for Galvanising as requested
  • Agreeing a date for erection of steel
  • Confirming and ordering sheeting
  • Agree a suitable time for sheeting / flashing with customer
  • Finish final touches

 

 

Agricultural Buildings - Back to Top

Agricultural buildings are similar to industrial buildings with the exception that most agricultural buildings have to be designed in accordance to the S101 - Dept. of Agriculture Grant Standards. In most cases this eliminates the requirement for the customer to have an engineer sign off the design drawings before fabrication can begin.

Sheeting / Cladding - Back to Top

As steel erectors a large portion of the work includes sheeting the erected steel. Once the steel has been erected we order sheets specifically cut for that building ensuring the finished building has a tidy and professional finish.

Sheeting / Cladding is ordered to size and usually requires 2 weeks to be delivered to our yard, however we stock various sizes of PVC coated sheets which we use on all garden sheds and control units. For details on stocked lengths please contact us here.

Re-Bars - Back to Top

Re-Bars are reinforcing rods embedded in concrete in order to strengthen the concrete once it dries. The primary types of re-bars we supply are T12 and T16 straights, long and short corners, and U - Bars. All of the re-bars we supply are cut, bent, and welded to the Dept. of Agriculture Grant Standard S.101.
